A freshmen level 3 credit general education science course with no pre-requisites. 1 hour of lecture and 3 hours of lab per week. Recommended but not required for criminal justice and computer forensic science majors. Covers a variety of topics including types of physical evidence, analysis of physical evidence and the law relating to the physical evidence. Laboratory exercises are presented as cases with evidence to be analyzed.
